The girl I am best friends with now had complained to our school principal about me teasing her(1oth standard). On her complaint, I was suspended from attending classes for a week. Guess what happened next ? She sent me an E-mail after 5 years about how she was feeling guilty on complaining to the principal about me. (She found out that I was not the one playing pranks on her ) From that time, we have met just once, as she works in bangalore, and I am here in Delhi. But, I have had many conversations with her over the telephone, where she acts like my mentor, shows me the way in my life and motivates me once in a while. Even if I speak to her after a gap of 1-2 months, We remember what all we spoke the last time .. Thanks to God for giving me a friend like her !!

ReplyDeleteIt was one rainy day in July 2009, had to go to Thane for my exam, but my scooty broke midway, dint wanted to miss the exam, No public transport was available as it was mid of Ghodbunder Road, asked a lift from a guy travelling in a car, doubted mydelf if I was doing it right but the guy dropped me and gained my trust for lifetime. Now we are best friends.
ReplyDeleteWe were still in highschool, going to our senior year in 2003. It was the same year i truely needed a friend. That year my family was told that my mom was sick an it was going to be a rough next couple of years. I wanted to rebel thinking that was the only way to deal. Well I thank the Lord I met her because she would talk to me on the phone at 2 am or come over an take a car ride just so I could talk about things that are going on. That was 10 years ago an were still the best of friends. Whenever I need to I can still.give her a call when I need to talk. Im so thankful to have a bestfriend like her.
